Coconut Grove is a 5-star resort offering luxurious self-contained apartments in Port Douglas. The property is located on cosmopolitan Macrossan Street, only 140-metres from Four Mile Beach.

There is a selection of beautifully furnished and spacious apartments, all of which have been decorated in a contemporary style. Each apartment has a full kitchen, plasma TV, living-dining area and an en suite with spa.

All of the units also offer impressive views over Port Douglas and the rainforest. Some feature a private plunge pool, spa and outdoor entertaining facilities.

Leisure facilities at Coconut Grove include a swimming pool and 20 metre lap pool. Snorkelling, diving, fishing and four-wheel drive adventures can all be arranged locally.

Luxury accommodation right next to everything.. rooms were lovely service was amazing , highly recommend
Prices were a bit over the top for just normal type apartments/penthouses but still give it a 10/10 otherwise !!

Lovely, conveniently located, luxury accommodation
The complex was very conveniently located on the main street of PD (but still quiet), making it easy to peruse the shops, restaurants, national park & the main marina. The apartment more than met our expectations - large living & kitchen area, laundry, study, large bedroom & bathroom. The main pool also provided a relaxing place to unwind after a walk around the national park. Received a cheese platter with the room as well which was a nice touch. Receptionist (Amy?) helped me with sourcing some restaurant recommendations in town for my Vegan partner.
The shower area was a little narrow between the wall & the bath which meant that I often hit my arm against a redundant soap holder. Suggest that it be removed.

What was the highlight of Coconut Grove
Great location, a beautiful & spacious apartment and an awesome top deck.
We (a family of 5 including 3 older teens) stayed in one of the 3 bedroom penthouse apartments. We were looking for a place that had plenty of space for us, a private outdoor area and close to both shops and beach. Coconut Grove was perfect. We enjoyed the location on Macrossan Street and a very short walk to the beach. The best aspect without a doubt was the top level deck with small pool, big BBQ, comfy outdoor furniture, large sun umbrella and a glorious view of palms and mountains. We spent many hours up there, enjoying the sun, the breeze and the views. The apartment was well furnished with everything we needed, including a lovely huge fridge with an ice maker and cold water dispenser.
Probably the only fault I could find is that personally I thought the pillows were a big firm. Note - the pool is small - great for a cooling dip but not big enough for swimming or for energetic kids/teens to play games in. But there is a bigger pool at the property that was suitable for swimming/playing.
